Just another normal sleepover… August 11, 2007

So Nathen wanted to sleepover at Willie’s house no problem right. But here’s the catch. Willie’s dad took a road trip with Willie’s little bro to California and wasn’t home. So Willie decided to invite a whole bunch of girls to sleep over at his house. Now here’s the thing my mom told Nathen that he couldn’t sleep over because of soccer practices but she said he could have a late night. Well you can probably guess my mom didn’t know girls were supposed to be there. Before Nathen went over there he was telling me all about this so called “sleep over” was suppose to happen. The girls would get there later and he would have a late night. The girl he’s been crushing on (Lauren) just dumped her boyfriend and she was going to sleep over and his best girlfriend Jenny was going to sleep over too. He was telling me about Willie’s plan to have girls sleep over and how he was going to go over there for a bit to see Lauren and Jenny. But you know us little sisters have to stick together and you probably could guess what I did. I called my mom up and told her Nathen’s plan and I told her not to tell him I told because he told me confidentially. So mom goes to pick Nathen up at Willie’s house and guess what she found girls were going to sleep over at the house. Well she was furious. She didn’t know what to do, she yelled at Willie because he should not be breaking the rules and took Nathen home. They had a long conversation and some bickering but it lasted 2 days!! Of course I have to be put in the middle. Mom decides to go out to the mall and see a movie for some family bonding for the next week since Nathen is grounded. All they did was bicker and argue it got so annoying because we were in the mall or in the movies and those long car rides home. But that eventually stop. Thank god. It got so annoying. But Nathen is still in hot water and probably will be for the rest of his life. I think the lesson to be learned for Willie is: Don’t have girls sleep over/through a party wile your dad isn’t home because it always gets back to the parent. Trust me. An for Nathen his lesson to be learned is: Don’t lie to your parents because once again they will find out the truth they always do.
