Hey guys well Nathen hasn’t really done anything too crazy in the past weeks. But he has a girl over now and all there doing is playing checkers. How wierd lol… I personaly think he need a life but thats ok. But he can be super suprising, for instance last week I play on my school soccer team (co-ed) and we were having are Tournament games. Are team made it all the way to the championship, witch was no suprise there because we are an amazing team. So it had to be like 2 half and sence im always playing on the field and like never sitting out. I didn’t see my brother and my mom standing on the field cheering our team on. So when the coach took me out the first person I saw was my Nathen standing there. I was just like oh my gosh, I almost cried because I like always watch his games and hes never watched any of mine. An this game was so important to me and I was in shock that he was here because he always has some lazy excuse to not come and watch me. Then when he said how proud he was of me made my whole year. I just look up to him so much and hes never told me he was proud of me and ment it. Then to make things even better we came in 1st place. It truly was amazing. But thats all I have for news. Hey guys sorry I’ve just been so busy between keeping up with all of the crazy things Nathen does and balancing school and soccer. Well here is a little update about what’s going on. Nathen got his driver’s permit. He isn’t that bad of a driver but I’ll just make my will early just in case. He has been really busy with soccer also. Last week he had a game and he got kicked in the head like 3 times but he got back up and played. He’s gotten so much better. Well homecoming is coming up and he asked this girl named Jessica but their going just a friends. Other than that there’s really nothing new or exciting to tell. Here’s a tip for today: “Don’t let the past dictate who you are, but let it be part of who you will become.”

Well things have been quiet around here. Nothing going on too much. Nathen has mannaged to stay out of trouble. He did do one of those reckless driver moves. So my mom lets him drive short distances to get the feel of driving. Nathen is also in driver’s ed but anywase he had a couple of friends still waiting to be picked up from their soccer game. So Nathen is driving with my mom in the mini van and turns on the radio full blast and says check this out to his friends. Then takes a sharp turn and my moms just sitting there like omegee!!! It was funny when my mom told me. I was just like yup thats so like Nathen. He has gotten nicer to me. For instances I came in at like 7:00 this morning and to wake him up sence the high shcool does a late start every wendenesday. An so I woke him up (well my mom told me 2) and he was planing on sleeping for another 30min and normally he would yell at me for waking him up. But instead he was just like what time is it I said 7:18 and hes like ohh I was planing on sleeping in longer and why did you wake me up. I was just like mom said I should wake you up, then he was all like its ok you didn’t know. Then he was eating the shrimp alfrado witch is my favorite thing in the world. So I was just like don’t eat all of it because I want some for dinner. He’s just like oh well in that case I’ll make something else. I was just like omegeee no way he auctually saved food for me!!! Well thats all I got. Noting to exciting. But the lesson for today is: Be nice to you bother and show him respect because the minute you show respect you get it in return.
School… August 30, 2007
Well Nathen and I have started school. So he has been comming in my room to make sure I am up and ready. Last year I over slept a lot so he would have to wake me up but now he has gotten into the habbit of seeing if I’m up that he does it like every morning. It’s really sweet because he keeps me on time. We normally eat breakfast together. I help out with putting the cream cheese away and putting his bagels in a bag so he can get to driver’s ed. Wow it’s scarry because its like only yesterday Nathen and I were drawing on the kitchen table eating lunch. Now hes in High School and then Collage. What will I do when he goes to collage! I’ll just be a junior in High School waiting for my brother to come home for the hollidays!!! Well for now I’m going to make every little second count, I don’t want to skip a beat. Tip for little sisters: Spend as much time as possible with your older brother because you gonna miss him when he goes to collage but at least you have thoes memories to get you through life.
Ice cream you scream August 27, 2007
Ice cream you scream we all scream for ice cream!! Ice cream is like the best food ever and the only thing Nathen pigs out and eats all of. Well I have to take that back he eats are whole fridge for dinner. But Nathen last night was at a friend’s house and he came home at like 11:30 and is like I’m hungry. So he decides to eat ice cream for dinner. He got out the vanilla ice cream and scoops out like 5 scoops. Then he puts chocolate syrup on it and chocolate sprinkles. Now I would eat that but then he puts chocolate chips, peanut butter, and some more chocolate syrup on it. Now this is coming from the kid who wouldn’t eat fast food last year because he wanted to get in shape for track and soccer!!! I was just watching he make it and I think I nearly got sick! But I did get a couple bites of just the chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream till he hit my finger wit the spoon. Lol… Tip for when you make ice cream Sundays: Only put 2 scoops of ice cream, chocolate syrup and 1 choice of sprinkles or else it doesn’t taste good.
Ipod Nanos… August 24, 2007
Never fear Roberts here to break something today! Lol… Well you can probably guess what he did. He broke his black ipod nano. There was a really bad storm here and he was standing out side wile it was lighting. Totally forgot the nano was in his pocket and now the nano won’t connect to the computer. But the weird thing is it still plays music! Lol… But I can’t say anything sense I broke my 1st ipod with in the 3 days of having it (the screen blew up) and then I lost my 2nd ipod. Witch was totally weird because me and 2 other friends were handing out “Reach For Change” flyers down town HP to put in stores so we can make people more aware. Then we went into Borders and we sat down and I swore I remember putting my ipod in my sweat shirt (the front pocket were you put your hands). And I was carrying it around with me like on my arm and it must have fallen out. I was so mad and sad it was really hard to tell my mom that I lost an ipod. But it just shows how little they are and how much responsibility you have to have to take care of them. So lesson be learned is: Never go outside wile its storming, put and ipod in your sweat shirt pocket, always know were it is.

Well it’s been pretty quiet around here. Robert hasn’t done anything that bad. He did have a party. Only 10 people came though. They watched a movie then went to the beach and came back to the house. It was wierd the boys were in one room playing Xbox and the girls were in another talking. You would think the boys would be trying to interact with the girls. Oh well their loss. Nathen made the soccer team, hes a Sophomore this year. So I have just been watching his games. You can learn a lot from watching. It’s kind of cool though. He went out last night down town to hang out with friends. But other than that it’s been quiet and all he does is sleep, eat, and go to practies. But I’m sure he will do something again. Late night phone calls… August 16, 2007
Lately Nathen hasn’t been getting into trouble. Mainly because he has been grounded (but that’s never stopped him in the past). Anywise a couple of nights ago I was laying down in my bed reading a book and he was talking on the phone. He’s been having a lot of late night phone calls. He calls Lauren and talks to her till like 12:30am or sometimes even 1 am! He defiantly likes her. Normally I would click in to see what they are talking about but I have just been so darn tired and I was reading the book What my Girlfriend Doesn’t know by Sonya Sones. It was really good. Nathen has been very quiet and tired most of the days so I don’t really get to talk to him that much. But when I do its like he changed and he’s nicer towards me. It’s weird. But he is going to have 10 kids over tonight so ill keep you guys posted on that.

Nathen is finding that the more he hangs out with his friends their true colors show and it isn’t pretty. The hole thingy with the boy/girl sleep over wasn’t good. Willie won’t talk to Nathen. Nathen’s friends have gotten Nathen into more trouble this summer than another. He is finding that the group of friend he has isn’t a good one. All through Junior High Nathen had two best friends, Allen and Brad. Freshman year of High School they didn’t have any classes together so he stopped hanging out with them and found the crowed he’s in now. Now he is finding that he doesn’t like the true colors of his current group of friends. During Junior High Nathen never really went through the trying to find your group of friends. I think that’s what Junior High is all about bouncing through the different groups to find one that suit you. Like I said Nathen never really went through that he was always with Allen and Brad. Now it’s his sophomore year of high school and he doesn’t know what to do. This is kind of like his junior high but he’s in high school. Here’s a helpful tip: Try to find a good group of friends and its ok to bounce between groups because that’s how people learn and find them. But its easier to do during junior high because once your in high school you only need you closes friend to be there for you. Plus, with all the stress all ready from teachers and homework you don’t need any more than you all ready have.
Two-A-Days. August 12, 2007
So Nathen has these things called Two-A-Days and there for soccer. It’s were he has two practices in one day! So he has been pretty busy with that but still has time to get into trouble. His first practice is at 6:00am to 8:00am, so his alarm goes of at 5:30am. It sometimes wakes me up! How rude. Then his second one is like at 2:30pm or 3:00pm and doesn’t end till 6:00pm. So he really doesn’t bug me. He just sleeps and eats in between practices. It’s really nice not to be bugged you know. I actually had time to do stuff in peace in quiet, like I finished a book. I read The Boy Book by e. Lockhart. It was really good; I recommend it to any teenager. Nothing really has happened today but the days not over yet!
